Escape to a relaxing and inspiring quilting retreat from Thursday, June 26, through Sunday, June 29, at the Quilter’s Cabin, just outside of Brunswick, Missouri. This spacious and well-appointed retreat center is the perfect place to immerse yourself in quilting, creativity, and relaxation. With a charming fabric shop just a few miles away, you’ll have everything you need to spark new ideas and enjoy a stress-free getaway.

At the Quilter’s Cabin, we’ve thought of everything to make your retreat enjoyable. You’ll have comfortable overnight accommodation, a fully stocked kitchen (but don’t worry, we’ll handle all the cooking and cleaning!), and a spacious work area designed for serious quilting. Each workstation includes a large table, a comfortable chair, and access to ironing and cutting stations, so you can quilt with ease.

Whether you’re coming with a quilting friend or looking to make new ones, this retreat is designed to be a fun and rejuvenating experience. Pack your projects, bring your creativity, and get ready for a weekend of sewing, relaxation, and laughter!

Retreat Project

During the retreat, we’ll have a fun group project where I’ll show you how to make your own bucket hat using my AccuQuilt cutting system and the bucket hat die. I’ll provide the cutting system, die, and interfacing—you just need to bring a half yard of fabric for the exterior and a half yard for the interior. The best part? This hat is reversible, so you get two looks in one! It’s a quick, handy project that’s so fun to make, you’ll want to sew more than one!

Overnight Accomodations

The retreat center comfortably sleeps six guests in two upstairs bedrooms, each with three twin-size beds. A shared bathroom is located upstairs, with a second bathroom available on the main level. While there are stairs to access the overnight accommodations, a ramp makes it easy to bring in your quilting supplies. Bring your quilting buddy and request to be in the same room, or come solo and make new friends along the way!

Easy & Affordable

We want to make this retreat as accessible and affordable as possible, so we’ve set up an easy payment plan to spread out the cost. To reserve your seat, all you need to do is pay a $25 deposit—the rest will be billed in three automatic payments leading up to the retreat.

Payment Schedule:

• Pay Now: $25 to reserve your spot

• April Auto Payment: $125

• May Auto Payment: $125

• June Auto Payment: $125

That’s less than $400 total for a weekend of quilting, relaxation, and fun! By making the $25 deposit, your spot is secured. However, if a payment is missed, all funds paid will be forfeited, and we will activate our waitlist. Don’t wait too long—spaces are limited, and you won’t want to miss this retreat!
